What models can I choose from?


You can choose from any of the six (6) Texas Instruments graphing calculator models:

  • TI-83 Plus
  • TI-84 Plus
  • TI-84 Plus CE
  • TI-84 Plus SE
  • TI-89 Titanium
  • TI Nspire CX




What are the rental terms and rate?


You can choose from the following options:

  • $37.99/semester or 4 months
  • $27.99/quarter or 3 months
  • $19.99/month




What are my renewal options?


You can choose from the following options:

  • $20/semester or 4 months
  • $15.00/quarter or 3 months
  • $10.00/month
  • $5.00/week




Is shipping included?


You can choose from the following options:

  • FREE - USPS First Class 3-5 days (including Saturdays)‎
  • $4 - USPS priority mail 2-3 days (including Saturdays)‎
  • $18 - USPS Express mail 1-2 days (including Saturdays and Sundays)‎




When do you ship?


We ship from Mondays through Fridays.




When will the rent start?


The rent starts when the calculator is shipped out to the recipient.




When will the rent end?


The rent ends on the following:

  • For a semester: 120th day from the day of shipping.
  • For a quarter: 90th day from the day of shipping.
  • For a month: 30th day from the day of shipping.




Are there late fees? When do you charge late fees?


The calculator needs to be shipped back to us on the last day of the rental term. If the calculator is not shipped out on that day, it’s considered late and we will automatically charge your card with $5 per week late fee.




What if I was only late for a day?


We understand and value your time, should you be late for a day or two please let us know in advance.




How many weeks can I be late?


We will only allow five (5) weeks, for a total of $25. If the calculator is not shipped back at the end of five (5) weeks, we will automatically charge your credit card with the purchase price of $90.00.




When should I renew my rental?


You can renew your rental by clicking on the Renew button. Renewal notices should be received a day before the due date, until 11:59PM PST. Untimely renewal will result in payment of late fees.




Can I cancel my order?


Yes, you can cancel on the same day the order was placed. Cancellations should be made on or before 11:59PM PST. In the event that an order has already shipped, you agree to have your credit/debit card charged for the applicable shipping fee charged at that time. The calculator will need to be received before any adjustments in billing will be made.




When do you ship out an order?


The calculator will be shipped out on the same day if we receive the order on or before 1:59PM PST.




Do you ship anywhere in the U.S.?


Yes, we ship anywhere in the U.S.




Which Time Zone do you use?


Since we are based in California, we use Pacific Standard Time.




What if I lost parts of the calculator, or lost, or damaged the calculator?


As per Terms & Conditions, which you have understood and agreed upon before check out, we will automatically charge your credit card for the replacement price in the following situations:

  • We determine that you have sent us the wrong calculator rented to your account;
  • The slide cover and/or battery cover has been lost/damaged;
  • The rented calculator has been lost;
  • The rented calculator has been damaged;
  • The vinyl sticker or the label or the barcode has been damaged.

You agree that the determination of the damage to the calculator is in our sole discretion. Damage is between $10 to $80 depending on the extent of the damage. If the damage exceeds $80, the calculator is considered purchased. The calculator purchase fee for any model is $90.




When do you reply to emails?


We will reply to your emails within 24hours. Except weekends and holidays.




Does battery come with the calculator?


Yes, we will provide batteries but not USB cables.




I am a math teacher and I would like to rent for my class, what’s the process?

Are the calculators new?


No, our calculators are pre-owned, tested and cleaned.




Are you affiliated with Texas Instrument?


No, we are not. All of our calculators are property of Calculator Genie.




What if I drop my class or my class got cancelled for whatever reason?


Let us know by sending us an email at info@calculatorgenie.com and we can discuss.




How do I return the calculator?


When you're ready to send the calculator back to us you can use any mailing service (USPS First Class Recommended) to send it back to 150 Ann Ave Unit #5, Port Hueneme, CA 93041.
